G's BBQ - Starke

Gary, the founder of G’s BBQ, established his restaurant over 12 years ago. After experiencing a devastating fire that destroyed his previous location in early 2024, he sought to rebuild and create a new culinary space in Starke.

Repurposing Existing Structure: Converting an old Pizza Hut into a functional and appealing BBQ restaurant

Structural Improvements: We reengineered the dining room trusses to create a vaulted ceiling, designed and built a new covered front porch, and constructed a dedicated smoke pit area and management office.

Technical Upgrades: We also had to do a complete overhaul of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems. Additionally, we installed a new architectural shingle roof, added a walk-in cooler, implemented a new hood system and gas lines, as well as integrated floor drains into the existing foundation for easy cleaning.

The project successfully transformed the former Pizza Hut into a modern, functional, and appealing BBQ restaurant in the heart of Starke, Florida. Wiggins Group demonstrated our ability to completely reimagine and renovate an existing structure, creating a new home for G’s BBQ that addresses both aesthetic and practical needs.
